BESAKIH TEMPLE, situated on the slopes of Mount Agung about 1000 meters above sea level. This was the first temple built in Bali, known as Mother Temple, built by Java Markandeya High priest who traveled to Bali in the 8th century. Besakih has a large complex of temples including the temple family added later by another Java Nirartha priest in the 16th century. The main temple courtyard is “Penataran” has three thrones called “Padma Three” with a separate chair of the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. The admission fee is Rp 10,000 / person (local guide fee is Rp 50,000 per pair)
Kerta Gosa, It is located in the center of Klungkung. Kerta Gosa was built in the 18th century when Bali was ruled by a dynasty of King Krishna Kepakisan. Separated from Puri (palace) there complec justice building, the hall of justice is called Kerta Gosa. The floating hall called Bale Kambang, and pools of water called Taman Gili. Ceiling of the building is covered by the traditional painting style of Kamasan. They were replaced by using new material in 1930 and refurbished in 1960. The palace itself was destroyed during the war between the Netherlands and the Kingdom of Bali in the early 20th century.The visitors who crowded pretty good domestic and foreign visitors.
Goa Lawah, Temple which is located in Pesingahan village, Klungkung. The temple was built in the 11th century by a priest or MPU MPU Kuturan Rajakerta, this priest who created the concept of four temples in Bali. This is one important temple situated near the sea, specially used for “Nyegara Mountain” ceremony (Segara it mean ocean and mountain that means mountain). The Balinese people use this Goa Lawah Temple to temple Besakih to the sea and the mountain shrine. Caves in the cliffs filled with thousands of bats.
